Women of Many Nations “Healing the Healers”

Public·20 members

This community of Women of Many Nations isn't simply about surface-level healing; we gather knowing that our journey transcends our personal journeys. We seek to delve into our ancestral depths, recognizing that our lives are intertwined with the wounds of our foremothers & forefathers, which have left us fractured, scattered, and sometimes burdened with shame. We declare an end to this cycle; the healing begins with us. Understanding the interconnectedness of all women, we pave the path towards a vibrant existence, embracing uncomfortable conversations as vital steps towards collective healing.

How do you think acknowledging and embracing our ancestral wounds can contribute to personal and collective healing among women?

Thank you for this question Sistar Sah’Rah!!!

I believe this is an important contribution to our health and well-being and personal growth and development as women, both individually and as a collective. We are healers by nature, and within Ladies of the Light we always say, we’re healing ourselves now in order to heal seven generations back and seven generations toward. It starts with us!

Paraphrasing the old African proverb of Sankofa, reaching back to pay it forward…we have to know where we come from (and all that the journey has entailed) in order to understand where we are headed. We are our ancestors, some of us reincarnated and others by carrying their spirit forward because they are with us!

I am grateful to be here, right here, with you all!
