Beloved Community,
This August, the Ladies of the Light gathered for our five-day Crowning Retreat, Journey of Wholeness. It was a sacred passage through the Medicine Wheel, guiding us back to self through Spirit, Emotion, Body, Mind, and Center.
Day of Self-Love & Renewal
We honored ourselves with a self-love day: nourishing yin yoga in the morning, time for sacred rest and restoration, and high-vibrational meals that became prayers in edible form. Through touch, presence, and laughter, we nurtured one another as chosen Sistars.
Immersion in Ceremony
Each day opened with prayer and was steeped in ritual: from the waters of emotional release, to the body’s reclamation through womb healing and sound therapy, to the sacred silence of journaling and restorative practices. The Red Tent womb blessing and Crowning Ceremony bathed each woman in oils, herbs, flowers, and song as she stepped fully into her sovereignty.
Integration & Belonging
We closed with a family dinner, reflections by the fire within, and a final circle of gratitude. Together, we remembered that healing is not only for ourselves but also for seven generations before and seven generations to come.
This retreat was more than a gathering. It was a weaving of prayer, love, and ancestral remembrance. We leave crowned in Light, carrying the wisdom of the Wheel into every step of our lives.
